Dr Jane Stanley also worked with the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) on an European Union (EU) funded program for training local government in Small Island Developing States. In 2019 we delivered training in person within Kiribati and the Cook Islands. The third target country was the Marshall Islands, but the COVID-19 emergency made a visit impossible. So we reconfigured the training for zoom delivery over 3 days, which went well. Then we convened a webinar as a first major activity for the new Pacific Partnership (see below), and I am now completing the written training manual on this program. We hope to roll it out to other countries if we can secure additional funding.
